Forty H4nds

Another eye-catching but nook place for a snug brunch. Meeting up my friend to discuss the itinerary for our up coming Bangkok trip in October. Just a few more week away to my holiday, yip pee!

The moment we arrive around 11am on weekend and the place is full of people indoor and outdoor. We can hardly find seat, you just have to wait for other diner to finish their meal to get a seat. You have to be prepare if u wanted to visit on the weekend. Not sure weekday also that crowded. Interesting part is the cafe have a outdoor back yard for diner and the indoor space is too narrow and cramped. While queueing up to order, you have to keep make space and move aside for the diner and the staff who are moving around.

When we entering the cafe and the first thing my friend told me that she feel like she exist in a pub early in the morning. lOl! I agree with her, because the cafe play very loud music. Not appropriate right? Shouldn't they play soft and smoothing music in the morning.

Latte

My friend order a cup of Latte and a sandwich, not sure what the name for this sandwich. This sandwich recommended by the staff, my friend share some with me. This sandwich indeed delicious, the bread is crispy after tossed and the filling is sweet and savoury with chunky vegetable.

Lemon Ginger Tea (S$4.00) & Tau Sar Pao (S$2.50)

I order a cup of Lemon Ginger Tea and Tau Sar Pao. The tea has a bit of mint spicy taste, not my cup of tea. >.<
I like the tau sar pao, the pao is soft, fluffy with smooth texture and the red bean filling is generous enough not over sweeten.

I would come back for the food again but certainly be it on a weekday or take away on the weekend.
